OFFICIAL 1.1.3 Jailbreak by the Dev Team RELEASED!

It turns out that the jailbreak that Nate True released was not the completed one. Well the Dev Team have released the Official Jailbreak
The simplest method for Windows is from jfb392 of iPodTouchFans

QUOTE from jfb392 from iPodTouchFans:

Download and extract this to any folder on your computer.
Run jailbreak.bat and everything should work on it’s own.
When the download of the firmware stops at 100%, don’t worry and don’t close the window, just be patient.
This requires you to be on Wi-Fi on jailbroken 1.1.2 with BSD Subsystem 1.5 or greater, and OpenSSH.
Also, be plugged into some kind of power source, like the Dev Team recommends in the README.
Make sure you have lots of free space on your iPod too, you’ll need it.
Thanks to the Dev Team for this method, plus everyone who tested this when it still had problems.
And my girlfriend, she’s the reason why I even bother with this, even though she won’t hack hers.
To get the January update for free, add http://madpike05.googlepages.com/repo.xml to your sources in Installer, then navigate to The iPhone 1.1.3 Apps. in categories and install “The iPhone 1.1.3 Apps”.
Don’t worry about patching Springboard or activation pop-ups, etc, it’s all fixed since this is the real iPod firmware.
Be aware, your applications may not show up, you’ll have to uninstall and resinstall them.
Some may not work at all on 1.1.3, but it’s the risk you take.
Enjoy. Please report any problems in this thread.
Don’t bother reading the whole thread, everything should work fine.

Users who have Installer.app problems, see this.

1.1.3 Jailbreak Soon , Multiple Exploits Found Confirmed

Unconfirmed but hopefully true. Courtesy of Justin Nolan of ModiPhone.net;

EDIT: This has been confirmed as the Dev Team and Nate True have released a jailbreak.

QUOTE:

“Multiple exploits have been found! That means the dev teams can keep one hidden away in their arsenal, and release a 1.1.3 jailbreak sooner rather than later. Information is scarce, but the best I can provide is that the iPhone/Touch Dev teams are working on software/scripts to make the process beginner friendly. The only ETA is “soon.” I will, of course, keep you posted. “

This hasn’t been confirmed yet but does mean,if true then we can expect a jailbreak method quite soon while the other remains hidden so when Apple releases 1.1.4/the SDK we could use the other method that Apple couldn’t patch (because they wouldn’t have known what the exploit is)
